Anastasia Vrachnos '91 returned to Princeton as vice provost for international affairs and operations in 2015. As the University's senior international affairs officer, she leads the development and administration of partnerships, policies and programs that advance the international scope of Princeton's teaching and research mission and enhance the University's global connections. Anastasia served as the inaugural dean of international and professional experience at Yale-NUS, a liberal arts college in Singapore from 2012 to 2015. Prior to this, she served as executive director of the Princeton in Asia program. Anastasia draws from a wide range of professional experience in the fields of education, finance, journalism and international development. She taught middle school in the Bronx, New York, taught English at Atma Jaya University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, worked as a Morgan Stanley investment banker and produced award-winning images as a photojournalist and media-trainer documenting Indonesia's transition to democracy. She received her MS from Mercy College.
