Summer Study Abroad in Pisa
The Princeton in Pisa Summer Intensive Program offers students the opportunity to take a four-week Princeton course, ITA-207I, while in residence on the campus of the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Pisa, Italy. Located in one of the richest historical and intellectual environments of Italy, the SNS is a premier university with a long and distinguished tradition. The program offers a full immersion experience that will allow students to interact with the territory on a linguistic, cultural, and social level. The Princeton students will have lunch and dinner at the cafeteria of the Scuola and are provided access to the Scuola's library, computer clusters, dedicated Wi-Fi and all services provided to internal students. Students who have completed the language sequence and are motivated to deepen their engagement with Italian language and its cultural history are encouraged to apply. The course offered in Pisa is ITA-207I. The successful completion of the program will allow students the ability to enroll in upper division Italian courses. The 2022 program will take place from June 12th to July 8th, and the resident faculty member will be Dr. Anna Cellinese (Director, Italian Language Program).

Syracuse University in Florence, Italy
With a long tradition in the magnificent city of Florence, the Syracuse in Florence program is ideal for Princeton students interested in taking intensive Italian language and content courses (especially in visual and studio art) all in Italian directly enrolled at the University of Florence. A homestay program complements the language immersion.

The Lowy International School at Tel Aviv University
This program is a great fit for students who are looking for a transformative experience while living and studying in the cultural and economic heart of Israel. Students can take courses in English in the areas of Hebrew language, Middle East studies, politics, etc. Students with a high level of Hebrew can take regular university courses taught in Hebrew.

Trinity College, Rome Campus
Located in the heart of ancient Rome, the Trinity College program is ideal for Princeton students interested specifically in Italian art history but with a limited knowledge of Italian. Students continue to learn the Italian language (but intermediate and advanced Latin and Greek are also available) while taking specialized courses on Michelangelo, Bernini, ancient Roman art, and more.

University of Cantabria, Exchange in Engineering
The University of Cantabria exchange offers Princeton students across several Engineering tracks the opportunity to take Engineering courses in English in the beautiful city of Santander, Spain. Students should have taken at least up to the 107 level of Spanish and are also encouraged to take some courses in Spanish, as well.

University of Tokyo
The University of Tokyo was established in 1877 as the first national university in Japan. Students who wish to focus on East Asian studies but do not have advanced Japanese may enroll in PEAK, Todai?s program for international students. PEAK offers Japanese language at various levels and courses in English in East Asian Studies and Environmental Studies. Students in other disciplines, including the sciences, may direct enroll in departmental courses taught in English or in Japanese if possessing advanced language skills.

Wellesley-in-Aix allows students the opportunity to study in a student-friendly city of in one of the most beautiful regions in France, located just 30 Km north of the Mediterranean coast. Students can take a combination of French-taught courses both through Wellesley and the local intitution, Aix-Marseille Université, which is the largest university in France.

Yonsei University
Yonsei University is Korea?s leading research-oriented private university in Seoul, South Korea. Princeton students can study at Underwood International College (UIC), an intimate, elite setting within the larger institution where classes are taught in English. Students interested in East Asian Studies or Korean language are the best fit for this program, and may take courses in Korean directly at Yonsei's departments if their language level permits.
