Film Festival - Dinner Conversation with author and UCLA Distinguished Professor Alain Mabanckou

As part of the fourth edition of the Princeton French Film Festival (March 20-April 23, 2026), you're invited to an informal conversation in English with Alain Mabanckou, a major African and Francophone author who published 40+ books. Topics will include Prof. Mabanckou's personal and artistic trajectory as well as his books. No preparation or reading required. Dinner swipes to Forbes College Dining Hall will be offered to the attendees. This event will be followed by a screening of Noirs en France (2012), a documentary made and narrated by Alain Mabanckou, that will take place in Betts Auditorium from 7:30 PM and followed by a Q&A.
