Send Students to Mpala
Faculty and researchers interested in working at Mpala should:
- Contact Brian Kloeppel, Director of the Mpala Secretariat, for an initial discussion about the scope of their research and fit to Mpala. Brian will assist with the steps below.
- Write a research proposal. It is often recommended/easier to join an ongoing research project.
- Request an affiliation letter from Mpala ($50).
- Obtain necessary Research Permits from the Kenyan Government in Nairobi ($500) (renewable every year) - contact Dinah Ayoma (Research Compliance Officer) for assistance with obtaining permits.
