Folk Forms of Expression: Greek, Cypriot, and Balkan Dances

World renowned dancer, Christos Shakallis, will perform and lead workshops for the event Folk Forms of Expression: Greek, Cypriot, and Balkan Dances at Princeton University! The event will consist of two parts: three dance workshops on February 9th and 10th, and a grand finale performance on February 10th. During the three two-hour workshops, Shakallis will teach us Zeibekiko, Hasapiko, Kalamatiano, and many more dances. No experience is required. Each workshop will be adjusted accordingly to allow the participants to attend as many as they want! Shakallis and his colleague, Maria Pambori, will also perform along with local musicians and students in the final performance on February 10th at 8:30pm! Light appetizers will be provided.
