GAASA serves to create an inclusive space to celebrate and acknowledge African-American history, culture, and community. This event is especially important to this mission, as it will allow for the newest class of Black students at Princeton to further build community while celebrating Black History Month. Black History Month itself was created to acknowledge the often overlooked culture and contributions of African-Americans, which directly coincides with GAASA's purpose, and it would be remiss to fail to introduce the first-year class to such a pursuit. Karaoke Night in particular, will allow for the celebration of a long and storied tradition of music in African-American culture. All Princeton students are welcome to attend. The main activity of this event will be Karaoke, and students will have the opportunity to sing various songs throughout the night that reflect Black culture. We will rent mics and a speaker from Frist Campus Center Venue Services. Food is planning to be served. --- Event Details: https://my.princeton.edu/rsvp?id=1975863
