As part of the GSG's Events for Black History Month and the Princeton French Film Series, join us for a special screening of Cesar-winner The Story of Souleymane (2024) by Boris Lojkine who follows a fictional asylum seeker from Guinea, Africa working in the hostile French capital as a bike deliverer. The film is inspired by Abou Sangaré's life, who plays in the movie as an amateur actor and later received several prizes (including Best Male Revelation and Best European Actor)

In French, Malinke, and Peul with English subtitles, the film will take place at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 13th, 2026. Free and open to everyone upon registration.
