Boston University Madrid University Studies Program
This program is a great fit for those students who already at an advanced level of Spanish language and are interested in taking a full load of content courses in Spanish, in areas such as history, politics, anthropology and more. Students take courses at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid alongside other domestic and international students, in addition to one Contemporary Spanish History course taught through BU.

The BU Padua Italian Studies Program is located in a lively Northeastern Italian town that is home to one of the oldest universities in the world. Brown in Brazil offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves completely in the culture and language of Brazil through intensive language instruction and direct enroll courses at Pontificia Universidade Catolica in the areas of politics, history, literature, art history, and more. Designed for students with an intermediate level of Portuguese.

Brown in Italy, University of Bologna
Through the Brown in Bologna program, students can study at the oldest university in Europe in a city with great cultural, historic and culinary traditions. In addition to the mandatory pre-seminar focusing on Italian language and culture, students will take direct-enroll courses (all in Italian) at the University of Bologna and live with other students in Brown-owned apartments.

CUPA provides personalized methodology, language mentoring, and extensive academic, cultural and personal resources for students with advanced French language skills in Paris. Students will take courses across several well-renowned French universities, and the language pledge and homestay experience will allow students for deeper growth both in their language skills and cultural competency.

Students have the opportunity to study and live in the beautiful city of Seville, the commercial hub of the Andaluz region with a vibrant history dating back to the 8th century BC.
