On Tuesday, November 5, the Program in African Studies (AFS) celebrated the fall semester with a meet and mingle reception. The biannual mixer is a popular event: attendees included faculty, staff, students and campus partners.
AFS is a multidisciplinary forum that brings together students and faculty to learn about Africa — its peoples, environments and resources — by exploring cultural, historical, political, scientific and economic issues.
